Hello. My name is Meghan. I have just recently moved to Pittsburgh from New Jersey. I have seven years of ESL teaching experience and am TESOL certified. I have been teaching at a private language school in New York City for almost five years. I have taught both group classes and also private lessons. I have also taught workshops on vocabulary, slang, grammar and pronunciation. One of my interests is film and world events. I have even taught an elective course using films and documentaries as a way to learn new vocabulary and learn about culture. Prior to teaching in New York City, I lived and taught English to children in Japan. While I was in Japan, I was also a writing contributor to the bilingual magazine, Time Out Tokyo. I attended The Art Institute of California in San Francisco for Graphic Design. I am also a freelance journalist who reports on art, design, fashion and culture. I am currently pursuing my Masters in TESOL at The New School in New York City. I love meeting people from all over the world and teaching in a creative way that helps students achieve their goals.

Hello Everyone. My name is Jesse Kelly and I live in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. I moved here about thirteen years ago to attend the University of Pittsburgh. I studied Anthropology at Pitt and won a scholarship to a language school in Slovakia. I spent 8 months there over two years of traveling back and forth. When I moved back I had graduated college and took the opportunity to move to South Korea to teach English. My classes ranged from classrooms of children for special schools to one on one tutoring of adults in their homes. I made some great friends in Seoul and keep in touch with them online to this day. I was able to visit Japan and Viet Nam when I lived in Asia and I consider myself very lucky for the experiences. Back in Pittsburgh I spend a lot of time in our great parks, walking, playing tennis, hanging out with friends, and grilling all summer long. I love music and I play several instruments. My favorite is guitar. This summer I have already been to several concerts and I plan on attending many more. I look forward to teaching again and I think these conversation classes can be really helpful and really fun.
